Here is a list of baseball players from Eastern Iowa and the University of Iowa who are playing in the major and affiliated minor leagues in the 2025 season. All of the statistics are through Friday.
Keaton Anthony (Iowa/Philadelphia Phillies) — First baseman has reached base in 22 consecutive games via either hit or walk for Double-A Reading of the Eastern League. Batting average has climbed to .333 in 46 games this season, with 20 doubles, four home runs and 29 RBIs.
Jake Bockenstedt (Cedar Rapids Washington/Chicago White Sox) — Pitcher has a 1-5 record and 6.57 earned run average in 11 starts for high-A Winston-Salem (South Atlantic League). Has 48 strikeouts in 49 1/3 innings.
Brody Brecht (Iowa/Colorado Rockies) — Righty pitcher is on the injured list with low-A Fresno (California League) and hasn’t pitched since May 4. Has 0-2 record and 3.26 ERA in six starts this season. Has given up 18 hits and 15 walks in 19 1/3 innings, with 34 strikeouts.
Duncan Davitt (Indianola/Iowa/Tampa Bay Rays) — Pitcher has made 11 starts for Double-A Montgomery (Southern League). Has 4-3 record and 3.36 ERA. A good 1.08 WHIP in 59 innings, with 58 strikeouts.
Jack Dreyer (Iowa/Los Angeles Dodgers) — Lefty pitcher is 2-2 with a 2.62 ERA in 25 outings for the Dodgers. Only 24 hits allowed in 34 1/3 innings. Has struck out 35.
Calvin Harris (Western Dubuque/Chicago White Sox) — Catcher recently was moved up to Double-A Birmingham (Southern League), where he is 4-for-19 with a pair of RBIs in six games. Hit .286 in 31 games for low-A Kannapolis prior to his promotion.
Grant Judkins (Grinnell/Iowa/Oakland Athletics) — Continues to take a turn in the starting pitcher rotation for high-A Lansing of the Midwest League. Has made 11 starts and has 2-3 record and 3.81 ERA. Has allowed 52 hits in 52 innings, with 42 strikeouts. Threw 5 2/3 shutout innings in his last start, against Beloit.
Mitch Keller (Cedar Rapids Xavier/Pittsburgh Pirates) — Don’t look at the 1-8 record because he has been the victim of awful run support this season for the Pirates. Earned run average is 4.13 in 13 starts. Has given up 77 hits in 76 1/3 innings, with 61 strikeouts.
Tate Kuehner (Marshalltown/Milwaukee Brewers) — Southpaw pitcher has made 11 starts for Double-A Biloxi (Southern League) and has a 5-4 record and 2.85 ERA. Only 36 hits allowed in 53 2/3 innings, though he has walked 34. Has posted 54 Ks.
Austin Krob (Lisbon/San Diego Padres) — Southpaw made six starts to begin this season for Triple-A El Paso (Pacific Coast League), but has been moved to the bullpen for his last eight appearances. Is 0-1 with a save and 5.26 ERA overall. A 1.72 WHIP.
Ty Langenberg (Urbandale/Iowa/Minnesota Twins) — Righty pitcher is struggling with the Cedar Rapids Kernels (Midwest League). Is 0-3 with a 7.79 ERA in nine starts with a 1.98 WHIP in 32 1/3 innings. Does has 38 strikeouts.
Adam Mazur (Iowa/Miami Marlins) — Right-handed pitcher has 11 appearances (10 starts) in for Triple-A Jacksonville (Eastern League). The record is 3-4, the ERA 3.44 in 51 innings. A good 1.20 WHIP.
Mason McCoy (Iowa/San Diego Padres) — Veteran infielder is on a rehab assignment after being placed on the injured list for Triple-A El Paso. Hitting .313 in 27 games for the Chihuahuas, with three homers and 23 RBIs.
Ian Moller (Dubuque Wahlert/Texas Rangers) — Catcher has played in 27 games for Double-A Frisco (Texas League). Hitting .169 with two home runs and eight RBIs.
Marcus Morgan (Iowa City West/Iowa/Philadelphia Phillies) — Recently placed on the 60-day disabled list for low-A Clearwater. Was 1-1 with a 10.13 ERA in eight appearances, four starts. Had walked 24 in 13 1/3 innings.
A.J. Puk (Cedar Rapids Washington/Arizona Diamondbacks) — Remains on the 60-day disabled list for Arizona with an elbow injury. Has four saves in eight relief appearances this season with a 3.38 ERA.
Sam Petersen (Iowa/Washington Nationals) — Outfielder is off the injured list and with high-A Wilmington (South Atlantic League). Is 3-for-5 in two games.
Colin Rea (Cascade/Northern Iowa/Chicago Cubs) — Rebounded from a couple of poor pitching starts for the Cubs by getting the win this past week at Washington, not giving up a run in 5 1/3 innings. Is 4-2 with a 3.59 ERA in 13 games, nine starts, overall this season. Also has a save.
Connor Schultz (Cedar Falls/Iowa/Chicago Cubs) — Pitcher is 0-3 with a 5.93 ERA in 12 appearances, two starts for high-A South Bend (Midwest League). Has 27 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings.
Jared Simpson (Clinton/Iowa/Washington Nationals) — Coming off a 2 1/3 hitless, scoreless inning-relief stint for Wilmington. Is 0-1 with a 5.18 ERA in 17 appearances this season. Has 30 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings.
Raider Tello (Iowa/Philadelphia Phillies) — Infielder is hitting .264 in 44 games for high-A Clearwater of the Florida State League. Has four homers and 21 RBIs.

Trenton Wallace (Davenport Assumption/Iowa/Toronto Blue Jays) — Pitcher is 0-1 with a 3.93 ERA in 11 appearances, eight starts, at Triple-A Buffalo (International League). Has allowed just 27 hits with 42 strikeouts in 34 1/3 innings.
Peyton Williams (Johnston/Iowa/Toronto Blue Jays) — Big first baseman has played 50 games for Double-A New Hampshire (Eastern League). Has a .216 average with five home runs and 21 RBIs.
Keaton Winn (Pekin/Iowa Western Community College/San Francisco Giants) — Right-handed pitcher remains on the 10-day injured list for Triple-A Sacramento (Pacific Coast League) after making three starts. Is 0-1 with a 5.91 ERA.
Jack Young (Iowa/Chicago White Sox) — Is dealing out of the bullpen for low-A Kannapolis (Carolina League). Has given up just 11 hits and a run in 24 innings, with That comes out to a 0.38 ERA, to go with a 1-0 record and three saves.
