Here is a list of baseball players from Eastern Iowa and the University of Iowa who are playing in the major and affiliated minor leagues in the 2025 season. All of the statistics are through Thursday.
Former Hawkeyes pitchers and 2025 MLB draft picks Cade Obermueller (Phillies), Daniel Wright (White Sox), Aaron Savary (Guardinas) and Anthony Watts (Cardinals) have been assigned to their respective organization’s Rookie-level complex teams, whose seasons have concluded.
That very likely means they will not make their professional debuts until the 2026 season.

Jack Dreyer (Cedar Falls/Iowa/Los Angeles Dodgers) — Lots of 2s for the lefty reliever. Has a 2-2 record and two saves for the Dodgers and an ERA of 3.03 in 52 appearances. Has given up just 48 hits in 62 1/3 innings and struck out 55.
Calvin Harris (Western Dubuque/Chicago White Sox) — Catcher has pretty much split the season between high-A Kannapolis (South Atlantic League) and Double-A Birmingham. Hitting .246 in 41 games for Birmingham, with two homers and 13 RBIs.
Grant Judkins (Pella/Iowa/Oakland Athletics) — Pitcher continues to lead the high-A Midwest League in innings (122 1/3 innings). Has 8-8 record and 4.19 ERA in 23 starts for Lansing. Has allowed 117 innings in 122 1/3 innings.
