Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium was the site of a special event Saturday evening when Mariette Forkner and Ben Ecker got married at home plate. The wedding reception was held in the concourse area of the ballpark as the newlyweds spent the evening with family and friends. The Eckers live in Cedar Rapids.
