Feb. 9, 2017 6:48 pm
CEDAR RAPIDS — The Cedar Rapids Ice Arena is hosting a pair of North American Hockey League games this weekend.
The NAHL's Springfield Jr. Blues and Topeka RoadRunners are playing at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The North American Hockey League is the country's lone Tier II junior league. It is considered one notch below the United States Hockey League, of which the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are a member.
Springfield has a 19-19-2 record in 40 games, to Topeka's 14-26-4. Will Schlagenhauf of Topeka began this season with the RoughRiders.
Tickets to each game are $10 apiece, though RoughRiders season-ticket holders will be admitted for free.
