C.R. RoughRiders bring in Estonian forward Robert Arrak

Nov. 15, 2016 5:33 pm
CEDAR RAPIDS — The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have brought in forward Robert Arrak, head coach/general manager Mark Carlson said Tuesday.
Arrak is a 17-year-old two-way forward from Tallinn, Estonia, who has been playing for the Espoo Blues U20 club in Finland. He is a 'C'-rated prospect in Central Scouting Service's preseason watch list of potential 2017 NHL draft picks from Europe.
That means he could be selected in the middle to late rounds.
Arrak's arrival hits the RoughRiders' limit of import players at four. Cedar Rapids is 0-13-2 and plays one game this week, Friday night at Dubuque.
