Beloit rallies past visiting Kernels in bottom of ninth

BELOIT, Wis. - Wang-Wei Lin scored on a single by Daniel Ramis in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Beloit to a 5-4 win over the Cedar Rapids Kernels in Midwest League baseball last night before 620 fans.
The Kernels led, 4-0, after three innings, led by Jean Seguar's RBI double in the second and a tworun homer in the fourth.
Beloit tied the game in the fifth inning, highlighted by Michael Gonzales' two-run home run.
Earlier Monday, Kernels pitcher Stephen Locke was named the MWL Pitcher of the Week for the period June 21-27.
Locke allowed three hits and struck out six over eight innings in a 5-0 shutout win over Peoria on Saturday.
