Bats heat up in hottest day of the season.

In a scorching heat on Friday night, the Kernels bats exploded for 16 hits. Every Kernel in the lineup had at least one hit.

The Kernels trailed 4-0 and 5-1, but were able to come from behind and win 8-5.

This game showed the resilience that we've seen from the Kernels club this season. They are never out of the game and have the confidence to come back, especially at home.

Tonight, the Kernels go for their second straight series win in game 3 of the series.
