7 Kernels selected for All-Star team
The Cedar Rapids Kernels had seven players selected for the 2010 Midwest League All-Star team.
The Kernels tied with Great Lakes with the most players selected.
Mike Trout was the only Kernels player to be selected as a starter playing at center field.
The following players were selected as reserves: 2B Jean Segura, 1B/DH Casey Haerther, RHP Fabio Martinez, RHP Garrett Richards, RHP Jeremy Berg, and LHP Tyler Skaggs. The game will be held at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on June 22nd. Way to Go Kernels!
