26 RoughRiders in town/press conference video

According to head coach/general manager Mark Carlson, there are 26 players practicing with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and eligible to play at any time. The team will have an active roster for its game and an affiliate roster, with players eligible to go back and forth.

Here are the 26 guys:

GOALIES - Troy Grosenick, Eric Rohrkemper, Matt Hemingway.

DEFENSEMEN - Bryce Aneloski, Steven Hensley, Andy Simpson, Jared Beers, Thomas Mahoney, Tommy Fallen, Mac Bennett, Nolan Zajac.

FORWARDS - Stu Wilson, Eric Robinson, Stephen Collins, Jeff Costello, Nick Lappin, Peter Sakaris, Derek DeBlois, Sam Warning, Chad Hudson, Zach Lehrke, Jordan DiGiando, Cason Hohmann, Michael Parks, Justin Kovacs, Jayson Megna.

Also, Costello showed up at Wednesday's "Media Day" press conference with a noticeable limp after taking a puck to his left foot/ankle during practice Tuesday. He was carrying crutches and a walking boot, not wearing them (kind of funny). He said he hopes to be ready for Saturday night's regular-season opener at Des Moines. We'll see.
