Colonel Andrle, from Ely, IA currently serves at the Pentagon as a Political and Military Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. As an F-16 Fighter Pilot, he has more than 1,000 combat hours in the skies over Iraq and
Afghanistan. Col. Andrle recently was selected to transition to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and serve as the Vice Wing Commander, Hill Air Force Base, UT. Col. Andrle is married to the
former Becky Rigel of Cedar Rapids and
together they have four children. His parents, Bob and Carol Andrle, reside in Ely.
