Pipe beating murder trial reset

The first-degree murder trial of Jason Blackcloud is reset to Apr. 12.
A pretrial will be 1:30 p.m. Apr. 1.
Blackcloud, 34, of Cedar Rapids, is accused of beating to death Jerry Hurt, 46, of Cedar Rapids, Aug. 26, 2008.
Blackcloud, who was riding his bicycle, allegedly came up to Hurt, who was walking along 14th Street SE, and struck him in the head with a piece of pipe.
