Cedar Rapids murder trial reset

CEDAR RAPIDS - The first-degree murder trial of Jason Blackcloud has been reset to Feb. 10 in Linn County District Court.
Blackcloud, 34, of Cedar Rapids, is accused of beating to death Jerry Hurt, 46, of Cedar Rapids, in August 2008.
Blackcloud, who was riding his bicycle, allegedly came up to Hurt, who was walking along 14th Street SE, and struck him in the head with a piece of pipe.
