Segment of NE Cedar Rapids road closed

CEDAR RAPIDS — A section of 29th Street NE will be closed for about two weeks because of a water main break.

The street is closed between A and B avenues northeast while repairs are made. A detour around the closed area has been posted.

The city of Cedar Rapids advised drivers to not cut through private parking lots to get around the closed section.
