The public will get a chance to learn more about the Mehaffey Bridge replacement project at an April 15 meeting.
The Johnson County Secondary Roads Department will host the meeting to go over the construction work and traffic control during the project.
Work is expected to start this spring and last two years to replace the bridge, which crosses Coralville Lake between North Liberty and Solon. The estimated cost of the project is $8.9 million.
The meeting will be 5:30-7 p.m. at the South Slope Community Center, 980 N. Front St., North Liberty.
