The City Council paused bus fares at the beginning of the pandemic by allocating federal funding of $2.88 million in fiscal 2021 and $3.72 million in fiscal 2022.
The city will award $450,000 to Marion businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The opening of the new $3.5 million, 3,500-square-foot Ellis Golf Course Clubhouse replaces the one that was destroyed in the 2020 derecho. It includes public event rental space.
