Incoming Linn County Supervisor Brandy Zumbach Meisheid takes the oath of office during a swearing-in ceremony Thursday in Cedar Rapids. Zumbach Meisheid was elected last fall and will replace her father, Louis Zumbach, on the county’s Board of Supervisors. He did not run for re-election. The Republican represents District 3, which includes Alburnett, Bertram, Center Point, Central City, Coggon, Lisbon, Mount Vernon, Marion, Palo, Prairieburg, Robins, Springville, Walker and a large section of unincorporated Linn County.
