Linn County is now accepting Economic and Community Development Fund grant applications.
The fund was established to foster and support economic growth and enhance quality of life in Linn County, according to a Monday news release.
The competitive grant process is open to eligible organizations in Linn County or that have a branch in Linn County and whose work benefits county residents, the release said.
This year, $200,000 is available to give out to qualified organizations.
Grant funds must be used for projects or programs that benefit county residents, the release said.
Priority is given to programmatic and capital projects that promote economic growth or community development in the county, demonstrate return on investment dollars, do not duplicate current initiatives and demonstrate a sustainability plan for project continuation beyond county funding.
The application deadline is 5 p.m. July 1, and applicants can find further information on the county’s website, linncounty.org.
