Lingren named ICN interim executive director

Dave Lingren, service delivery administrator for Iowa Communications Network, was appointed interim executive dir4ector of the Iowa Telecommunications and Technology Commission (ITTC) during a special meeting Jan. 4.
Lingren was named to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of John Gillispie, who resigned to take a position at the University of Missouri.
Lingren joined the ICN staff in April 2001 and assumed the lead management role for the ICN's Service Delivery organization in July 2005. Previously to working at ICN, Lingren spent 20 years with Qwest Communications. Lingren's undergraduate work was completed at Wentworth Military Academy/Junior College and Iowa State University. He also received his Certified Public Manager certification from Drake University in 2007.
The ITTC is establishing a selection process to permanently fill ICN's Executive Director position.
