Inmate at Oakdale prison dies of liver failure

DES MOINES -- Corrections officials announced that an inmate at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Oakdale died Friday of liver failure at the prison's hospice unit.Officials said William Greggory Kunze, 36, had advanced liver disease and died a natural death.
Kunze was serving a five-year sentence from Dickinson County for two counts of forgery. He began his sentence March 11, 2008.
