HUD secretary to tour Cedar Rapids

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Shaun Donovan will tour Cedar Rapids neighborhoods devastated in 2008 by Midwest floods Wednesday.
It will be Donovan's first official visit to Iowa since joining the Obama Administration. He will be joined by Gov. Chet Culver and U.S. Rep. Dave Loebsack.
Donovan will begin his tour in the Time Check neighborhood shortly after 10 a.m. before moving on to downtown Cedar Rapids at 11 and the Veterans War Memorial Coliseum at 11:45.
At 12:30, Donovan will be joined by former Iowa governor and current Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack at a news conference at 4th Ave SW and 1st St SW.
