Friends of Cedar Lake to meet Thursday
Friends of Cedar Lake, the body of water in an industrial area next to Interstate 380 near downtown, will hold a meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday at the city's Water Division, 1111 Shaver Rd. NE.
The meeting will be in the lower-level conference room at the rear of the building.
Officials from the city of Cedar Rapids, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Alliant Energy will speak.
