Culver to testify at U.S. Senate subcommittee hearing

Iowa Gov. Chet Culver will testify Jan. 21 before a Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee hearing on “How to Save and Create Jobs,” Sen. Tom Harkin has announced.
It will be the first Labor Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee hearing of the new Senate session to examine how federal and state governments can work with private businesses to continue the economic recovery by saving and creating jobs.
The hearing will be at 8:30 a.m. (CST) in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
