The city of Cedar Rapids has published its annual water quality report for 2020, which provides a comprehensive look at the past year’s drinking water quality, according to a news release.
The city’s finished water had no violations. Regulated chemicals, including nitrate, arsenic and fluoride, were all at acceptable levels, according to the 2020 report.
The Cedar Rapids Water Division achieved 100 percent compliance with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ water quality expectations in 2020, according to the news release.
The city sent the report to residents and businesses in the May issue of the Our CR magazine.
Customers can learn more about city water quality by viewing the report online at CityofCR.com/WaterReport or by calling customer service at (319) 286-5900.
