Linn-Mar running back Carter Henderson missed the first two games of the season and slowly increased his workload the next two weeks. He has regained his form, surpassing the 100-yard mark and scoring at least once in each of No. 9 Linn-Mar’s last four games.
A couple of guys intended to play major roles on this season’s Cedar Rapids Xavier boys basketball team didn’t play Friday night due to injuries. The Saints, who will be a main contender for the Class 3A state championship when healthy, found a way to get past scrappy Cedar Rapids Washington, 67-57.
