Salem native Cali Wilson won Tuesday night's Battle round over Iowa State University senior EllieMae on 'The Voice.' The elimination round ended Idaho native EllieMae's journey on the NBC-TV singing competition.
Just a short clip of their duet on Kelsea Ballerini's hit, 'Miss Me More,' aired during the program, along with final comments from their team coach, Blake Shelton.
'Cali has plenty of plenty of attitude and personality,' Shelton said. 'You're a kickboxer — it's becoming a part of who you are onstage. The winner of this battle is Cali.'
Then rising to give her a hug, he added, 'Congratulations, kid.'
'The Voice' airs at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. For more, go to nbc.com/the-voice.
