Reliving the Renaissance - Iowa Renaissance Festival
The wind blew strongly as vendors struck on stakes with sledgehammers to set their tents down. Approximately ten vendors have arrived on Friday morning to get things started for the weekend, with more to arrive throughout the day.
This year the Iowa Renaissance Festival may be the biggest, according to organizer, Gregory Schmidt. He predicts a higher attendance this year. Schmidt says that vendors come from all over the Midwest and some of them have been with the festival since it first started.
