PAWS for the holidays open house

CEDAR RAPIDS – Spread the news! The 2011 Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control PAWS for the Holidays Open House & Silent Auction takes place this Sunday, December 18th, from noon to 5 pm.

Bring your family, come with friends, tell your co-workers and neighbors. This year's Silent Auction is HUGE, with more than 75 specially selected and perfectly packaged items to bid on just in time to do last-minute shopping for that hard-to-buy for person or pet.

Open House activities include:

- Santa Claus and his elf with treats and gifts for the kids

- Face Painting

- Super holiday adoption specials

- Silent auction and tupperware gift sales

- Refreshments
