'Kraut Cuisine' featured at Babi’s Kitchen

Babi's Kitchen, a cooking and baking educational program, presented by the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library Guild will feature foods that contain sauerkraut.
The program on Saturday, Oct. 8, will feature crackers, dip, soup, and meat dishes made from sauerkraut.
Czech food experts Joyce Netolicky and Zelda De Houdt will demonstrate how tasty dishes become spectacular during this “kraut cuisine” session. They will also discuss some new applications for this versatile food.
Babi's Kitchen is free, designed for all ages, and will be held at St. Ludmila's Catholic Church, 211 21st Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, IA, from 10:00 a.m. – noon.
