Iowa State will be on display at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival this summer

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will participate in the 2012 Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, D.C., this summer. The festival's theme, “Campus and Community: Public Land-grant Universities and the USDA at 150,” celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Morrill Act, which founded land-grant universities like Iowa State, and the partnership between these universities and communities.
