Youth not a negative in choosing Saylor
Nov. 29, 2009 12:25 am
For me, youth in a candidate represents a few key commonalities. Youth means that we grew up with similar technologies, we experienced world-changing events at the same points in our life, we were perhaps educated from the same textbooks and, most important, we are potentially both looking for a place to raise a family, further establish our young career and find our voice in an already established choir.
I believe that for a city council to be representative of its community it needs to cover a broad spectrum of age. Aaron Saylor fills a void in this representation and would be a valuable leader.
