Women who worked with Romney say good things
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Oct. 27, 2012 12:33 pm
I had the good fortune recently to hear from women who have worked with Mitt Romney. One was an Olympic competitor, two had worked with Romney at the Olympics and three had worked in executive positions in his administration when he was Massachusetts governor. These six women are speaking across the state because they have gotten so frustrated with the besmirching of Romney's character.
Every one of these women spoke of the responsibilities they had, how Romney had championed their talents and how respectfully he treated them and everyone else he worked with, including across the aisle. He insisted these women be sure to balance their jobs and their families. Several mentioned what a sorry state Massachusetts was in when Romney was elected, how he made effective changes, and how confident they are about the job he will do for our country.
The Democrats decided that focusing on women's issues was a great way to get women all incensed. The dishonesty, smears and distortions? The ends justify the means to the far left.
Romney will make a terrific president for all citizens, and women must guard against being duped. Romney will help get our country back.
