Iowa voters went for Trump over Harris, 56% to 43%. Trump has promised to use the National Guard (and other agencies) to sweep through the country, to detain and deport undocumented workers. Many of these people work in Iowa agriculture. When they're gone, the cows will still need to be milked, the eggs will still need to be collected, the hogs will still need to be farrowed and fed, and the packinghouses will still need to function. Can we count on those Trump voters to patriotically step up, fill these jobs, and prevent the collapse of Iowa agriculture?
