Will glasses interfere with facial recognition technology?

Reading that they are using facial recognition at TSA checks at airports. How is this going to work for people that have Iowa driver's license that normally wear glasses? You can't have your glasses on when they take your picture for the driver's license. Is this really going to be a true facial recognition? Maybe this needs a little more thought.
