Why learn when our future is in jeopardy?

Math and science are boring, too hard or no fun (for many kids), said The Gazette's Aug. 23 editorial.
Or could it be that our young have gotten wise? They can see the supply and demand curves are broken. Legions of young workers are brought to this country on work visas each year, upsetting the equilibrium. A manipulated labor market has shortened technology careers.
Age 35 is fast becoming the new 40. In this age of the corporation, oversize profits rule. And lower payroll expenses mean greater profits. The feared Roman Empire-like fate will be of your own making.
