Why I voted no

Why did I vote no on the local-option sales tax (May 3)? When some of their supporters of it and their politicians come across as arrogant and highhanded, it's time for a reality check and it is not business as usual.
It was not a lack of trust. Once they got the money, we could trust them to use it on present and future pet projects.
