While aid goes overseas, U.S. veterans’ needs linger

I cannot support Ashley Hinson or vote for anyone willing to send $14 billion in military aid to another country while our own veterans struggle with getting the help they need. It is absolutely owed to them above all other countries military needs.
It is sad and horrible to know the citizens of Israel are suffering everyday in many ways. But our veterans should come first. Our veterans deserve a system that is there to help them with all their needs, be it their benefits, help with getting employment, or homelessness. Even just adequate health care would help tremendously.
The VA system is as broken as our school systems are. That money could drastically improve our school system and It would go a very long way toward our impoverished children and families. This country is rotting away and those of you who continue to ignore and steal our own citizens basic needs is disgusting and disrespectful to the very people who have allowed you to be in the position you’re in. Fourteen billion dollars sent somewhere else is fourteen billion slaps to the faces of everyone who needs a helping hand.
