Where have all the feminists gone?

The Gazette offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
In 1972 Helen Reddy sang “I am woman, hear me roar, in numbers too big to ignore. And I know too much to go back and pretend.”
The feminists of the 60s and 70s fought for equality. Equal pay for equal work and equal opportunity for promotions. They fought for equality in sports through Title IX, a federal civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in education programs and activities, including athletics.
I can only assume that it is the daughters and granddaughters of those feminists who are now giving up those rights to men who simply identify as women. I am not anti-transgender. I am however opposed to rules, regulations and laws that give transgender women rights that supersede those of biological females.
Specifically, I am talking about biological males participating in women’s sports at any level. The latest two incidents include the disqualification of a female fencer for refusing to fight a biological male; and two biological males who just competed in the U.K’s Women’s Pool Championship.
Biological males participating in female sports, taking away awards and scholarship opportunities from biological females is not right. Biological males taking any opportunities from biological females, including work, promotions or otherwise, simply by how they identify, is not right.
“Yes, I've paid the price, but look how much I gained.” Where are today’s feminists who will stand up for the female rights? And why aren’t there more of you being more vocal?
