When will parents value life over convenience?
The Gazette Opinion Staff

The Sept. 5 paper describes yet another case of a teenager with a school permit and irresponsible ignorance of the terms of that permit. “Going to get something to eat?” “Not wearing seat belts?” “Passengers?” “Northbound on I-380?”
This may sound cruel, but when are parents going to value life over convenience and peer pressure and say “no” to school permits?
