When Obama or a CEO can take blame, credit
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Regarding the Aug. 14 letter by James Schmitz (“Obama should accept blame for country)”: You made a statement that amazed me: “As a retired CEO, I say you take the blame when things are bad.” Please tell me when a CEO has done that.
President Obama stated he wanted to see health care reform and it happened.
He said he wanted to take away the failed Bush tax cuts for the rich. U.S. voters put a large majority of Republicans in the House of Representatives and they would not vote for that, twice. They even held my middle class taxes hostage. Please practice what you preach and give credit and blame where each is due, sir.
