What would local papers look like under authoritarian rule?

What would happen if we moved to an authoritarian government? In teaching “Public Opinion and Propaganda” at a college west of here, I used copies of The Gramma. It is/was the national paper of the Castro Communist government. My wife has visited there since as a tourist. On the internet, I have been called a socialist. So to clear the air, I am a social democratic capitalist. Think Canada. I didn’t vote for Bernie or AOC.
So what might The Gazette look like? First, there are some very necessary items that are needed to be covered. This includes all the back pages of legal notices. Then, under new ownership of the newspaper comes the Big Three. They are: social problems, sports, and scandals of famous people who are not loyal to the ruling party. The social problems are about other countries not here. It may be something like a tabloid on the impulse rack at the supermarket here in America
Here? Why, we would be living in a place that is almost heaven.
