What would Jesus do on immigration?

Your Aug. 15 article, 'Official: Liberty Poem Only For White Immigrants,” condemning Ken Cuccinelli, Acting Immigration and Citizenship Service boss, was quite appropriate. One of the slogans on the Stature of Liberty states that we should welcome the poor and those yearning for freedom.
The Holy Bible states that Jesus said 'You were a stranger and I took you in. You were hungry and I fed you. You were thirsty and I gave you drink.
You were naked and I clothed you. You were in prison and I visited you. Which of these things you do for the least of your brethren you do them also for me.”
Trump and his administration are neither patriots nor Christians. I hope his supporters will condemn his policies on immigration.
