What is Fred Hubbell’s stance on veterans?

Fred Hubbell is running for Iowa governor. Does he have any family members who are U.S. veterans? Has he visited any veteran at the VA Medical Centers in Iowa City or Des Moines since he announced his campaign? Does he plan to hire more male veterans to work for the state if he is elected governor?

These are questions many Iowa and Illinois veterans have asked me about Hubbell.
