What Cedar Rapids needs and doesn’t need

I want to know who the heck are the Jaycees and why are they trying to waste our tax dollars on more junk this city does not need.
Seriously, a band shell in Greene Square Park. Look people, I don't know where your heads are but I wish Cedar Rapids would stop catering to the rich and elite.
We don't need a band shell, we don't need an amphitheater, we don't need an ice-skating rink or a huge water fountain, what we do need is to get our priorities straight and spend this money on flood relief and helping out those who are unfortunate and maybe we could actually spend some money on road repairs, seeing as how Cedar Rapids streets are the worst I have ever driven on and it's giving me a headache, literally.
