What BP now represents for us
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jun. 26, 2010 12:32 am
The initials BP stand for British Petroleum. May I suggest others? How about “Bigger Prices,” since BP gas stations are usually higher per gallon than their competition. Or “Big Pig,” since the bird and aquatic kingdoms already think so!
Another BP: “The love of money is the root of all sorts of evils.” He's our “Biggest Power” and this is told to us in his Holy Bible in 1st Timothy chapter 10, verse 6.
America is full of evils from the love of money: greed, wicked deceptive business practices, improper shortcuts, health care overpricing, selfish financial decisions, harmful mismanagements, businesses monopolizing prices and other corruptions! We should all look upon BP's horrible disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, and receive instruction not to love money and practice its terrible evils.
Only then I think we'd have a BP of another kind. A “Better Place.”
