Weinacht right pick for Cedar Rapids

Susie Weinacht is the right choice for Cedar Rapids City Council. I've known her for several years and have had the privilege of interacting with her on several committees and initiatives around the community. She is passionate about education, diversity and improving the lives of the people of Cedar

Rapids.

She is both highly visionary and grounded in the practical. She will be a voice for our diverse community because she has seen and worked with it at so many levels. From her work with the Hawkeye Labor Council to her state-level leadership with the PTA, she has developed an engaging and heartfelt

communication style. When you visit with her, you recognize her passion, enthusiasm and concern for others and our community.

As a council member, she will be out and about, talking with residents, engaging in meaningful conversations and advancing the important work of the city.

Cedar Rapids stands at a crossroads in its history and needs strong leadership from people filled with possibility and hope. Much has been accomplished since the flood literally gave us a fresh start, and Weinacht is the right person at the right time for Cedar Rapids.
