Weinacht has much to offer residents

There is good reason these days to be filled with the prospect of great opportunity and optimism for Cedar Rapids and its residents and neighbors.

Susie Weinacht is a candidate for an at-large seat on the Cedar Rapids City Council (in Tuesday's runoff election). I wholeheartedly support her candidacy. Here's why I believe in Weinacht and what she brings to all of us in Cedar Rapids and beyond.

She has our city and residents' best interest at heart. She looks at all angles of a challenge or opportunity before making a decision and is strong enough to make tough decisions. She excels at creative thinking and innovative approaches to opportunities and challenges and she works across all party lines to enhance unity and achieve success for all. She brings massive amounts of energy and passion, and a can-do attitude, to whatever she is involved in. It is for these and many other reasons that I believe in Weinacht and believe her when she says, Together, We Can!

The opportunities before Cedar Rapids and our neighboring communities and state are many. Weinacht offers a robust package of energy, passion, compassion and creativity. I encourage you to join me in supporting her in her candidacy.
