We should remember events of Sept. 11
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I respect the opinion of the recent writer who felt we should not relive Sept. 11. I, however, feel we should remember Sept. 11 constantly.
As we viewed again the towers going down and the terrifying aftermath, realizing we were being attacked and thinking our country's freedom could be in jeopardy, that is reason enough to remember that fateful day.
I viewed the television show following the fireman on that day. I sat in awe and sadness and how it has changed their lives. And that is only one part of the massive aftermath.
Let us be thankful we were in Cedar Rapids.
