We should all be held accountable for actions

Reading all the comments regarding the Marion sting operation makes me wonder: Is this what our world has become? Shoot the messenger and our civil servants for trying to curtail corruption in our area? Make them the “bad guys!”
Is not a man of the cloth held to a higher level of behavior? It is not an issue of what is correct or not; he was ordained and yet is another example of our “humanness.” No one is crying out “unjust” for the rest of the defendants apprehended. Responsibility.
Of course, I believe his congregation should love and pray for their leader and his family feverishly. Of course there is forgiveness, repentance, regrets and remorse. Think, what if no one was caught? More deviant behavior could, and probably would, abound. Intervention, help and healing can begin. All things work together for God's good, right? While “foul” is being hammered at our police and media, think about any one of these men. Were they thinking of their families or of those who love them? Consequences.
We are responsible for our actions and must be ready to accept the consequences of our poor choices and behavior. It is time for all to be held accountable, at every level and station. Unfortunately, our society is straying from any decorum.
