Regarding the Aug. 23 letter by Tera Edmunds, titled “New Chick-fil-A is a step back for C.R.”: I don't believe Cedar Rapids is building the new Chick-fil-A. Might be the franchise owners.
All businesses have the right to their opinion, biblical or other. I'm 80 years old, born and raised in Cedar Rapids. Yes, there are a lot of businesses I don't care for, so I stay away from them. That's my choice. We all have a choice.
If you don't like the speed cameras, well, don't speed. That's your choice. You don't like a business, the biblical music they play or their attitude, don't do your business there, stay away. That's your choice.
Past, current and future generations will find something they want, good or bad, that has to be their choice.
