Wasson’s age, energy are strong attributes

Justin Wasson is a bright, talented and passionate individual. He is equipped with a bachelor's degree in finance, an indomitable spirit, a work ethic any employer would kill for and, most important, a passion for Cedar Rapids.
Many will count his age, 23, as a limiting factor; however, I believe it is one of his strengths. He is precociously wise and thoughtful. Combine this with his energy and you have created an unstoppable force ready to make our voices heard. At age 21, Justin bought his first home in the heart of Cedar Rapids. How many 23-year-olds can say they own their own home? Justin has invested in Cedar Rapids and has as much at stake as any Cedar Rapidian.
Most important, Justin is out in the community every day, speaking with his fellow citizens and asking the question: “What does Cedar Rapids need?” Cedar Rapids needs a leader like Justin to make it the safe, sustainable and vibrant community we all would want to call home.
Vote for Wasson for the at-large seat on the City Council and help make your voice heard.
